Venice Beach skate park is definitely one of the most iconic spots in the world – for skating, photographing, and generally hanging out. Instantly recognisable and built for good times, anyone who has ever visited that part of America’s west coast will have physical memories of the skate bowls among the palm trees and sea breeze. If this makes you yearn for summer (while we slowly begin to freeze during the Australian winter), photographer Louis Lepron is going to make that feeling 10 times worse. His analogue series from the famous skate park captures the ease of the summer season, with its mix of skate snaps and seaside vibes. And when the sun starts to go down over that west coast? The magic really happens.
