You’re probably familiar with artist Stephen Baker’s work, even if you didn’t realise it. The Melbourne creative has adorned the walls of some of the city’s most frequented location–hi Fitzroy Pools—as well as lending his geometric style to many of your favourite magazine covers (including yours truly). And if you’re a fan of his work, and the nostalgia of old-school basketball cards, his upcoming exhibition is a must-attend.

Ballin’ is a brand new show full of works inspired by all those basketball cards you used to collect in the ’90s. On display at Collingwood’s Spares store tomorrow night, Thursday April 7, the opening night will include Baker’s awesome art, free beer, tunes, and a NBA Jam machine AKA all of your favourite things. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase the framed canvas pieces on show, as well a limited edition tee printed by the good folk at Super Special. Get a preview of the works above and check out more of Baker’s portfolio here.
