This year we debuted Carbon X, our official offshoot of the annual Carbon Festival of Art and Design. We decided to kick things off with a panel discussion looking at much maligned and misunderstood subculture of graffiti. In a post-street art world where legal walls seem to dominate much of the cultural focus, we thought it was apt to give a platform for discussion to core graffiti writers who tend to shun the spotlight. Our panellists represented five unique voices from five different countries — Merda from Australia, Nemco from Italy, Mickey from the Netherlands, Fuzi from France, and Ket from America.
