Why the name Pigeon Boy?

When I was a young boy I unwillingly fell into and was trapped within a cave underneath my parents mansion. It was full of pigeons that upon my entrance, awoke and flew wildly around me. I was terrified until my father came down and helped me out.

A few weeks later both my parents were killed in a horrific turn of events. Whilst leaving the local theatre a wild gunman came up to us in a back alley and proceeded to wave his gun around whilst demanding my mothers pearl necklace. After a scuffle he fired two shots killing my parents and rendering me an orphan.

I lived on in our mansion under the care of our butler, Alfred. When I was old enough I left my home town to train under Ras Al Gul as part of the League of Shadows. Not wanting to be a murderer like them, I went off on my own to protect the innocent and fight the scum of the city.

I needed a disguise to protect myself and also instill fear into my enemies. I recalled falling into the pigeoncave and how much the pigeons had scared me, so I used this fear to my advantage. That night Pigeonboy was born. A one man vigilante on a war against crime.

Your most favourite thing that you own?

Skateboards. I have one in the shape of a salami hanging in my kitchen.

Favourite skateboarder?

It’s tough to have just one. Jerry Hsu, Marc Johnson, Ed Templeton more for his overall awesomeness these days than skateboarding ability.

Favourite porn star?

Scott Nails. Wait, did you want me to pick a girl?

When is your zine going to be finished?

When Venus, Saturn and the stars align. Or when I get it back from the printers.

When will you not be the perpetual group show guy and give the fans a solo show??

I’m selfish always taking never giving. Haha. I don’t know hey. I feel like I’m getting my name out there at the moment and people are starting to recognize my work. A solo show is a big commitment and if I did something I would want it to be great thus meaning I’d need a lot of time to prepare. Who knows though. Maybe next year could be the Year of the Pigeon.

How good is that TV show 16 and Pregnant?

Never seen it. But it sounds awesome.

Oh man that show is brilliant! I can’t believe Ben Flajnik picked that bitch. What was her name? Courtney? Grrr she just grinds my gears!
