Ai Weiwei ‘Never Sorry’

A closer look at the infamous artist

Chinese contemporary artist, activist, and recent prisoner Ai Weiwei is the subject of a new documentary ‘Never Sorry’, directed by Alison Klayman. Weiwei is regularly billed as one of the most influential practicing artists, and he’s not afraid of provoking controversy.

Right now the filming is touring festivals, picking up several accolades on the way. No word on a general release as yet, but this one might be worth seeking out.
