Memes have well and truly become a part of our everyday vernacular and language. There’s no stopping them. Artist Shawn Huckins‘ has started an impressive new series of acrylic paintings seemingly inspired by the meme titled American Revolution Revolution. He artfully combines paintings from the American revolution of the 1700s with vapid words of nothingness that are the result of the technological revolution which has occurred over the last decade.
