ESPO out-designs Faile and Heads of State to score cover artwork glory for this year's edition of New York Mag's, Best of New York.

ESPO, Faile and Heads of State all designed a cover for New York magazine. One was chosen as the winner and ESPO (rightfully) got the crown. The issue outlines the best things to do in the city. I’d love to see an Australian newspaper do the same for one of their lifestyle lift out mags. Not feeling Heads of State’s entry… they based it off hanging out with their friends and taking instagrams in the city all day but… kinda looks like a rushed 19 year old design student job to me. Given how much nice illustrative work they do it’s surprising.
