The work of this Swiss photographer is an incredible mix of art and science, allowing him to exhibit the beauty found in some of the world’s deep, dark intricacies.

The Black Hole series sees the Fabian Oefner apply paint to the end of a metallic rod which is then spun at a high speed, then photographed as the paint sprays out with the motion. The end results, seen above, show vibrant colours in motion as they spread and blend all in the space of a millisecond, with a kind of black hole effect.
