Campbell’s Releases Andy Warhol 50th Anniversary Soup Cans

Andy Warhol’s iconic 32 Campbell’s Soup Cans was unveiled to the world in an exhibition on July 9th, 1962. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the series of works, Campbell’s is releasing a short run of tomato soup cans paying homage to Warhol’s signature pop-art stylings. In conjunction with The Andy Warhol Foundation, the series of cans will come out on September 2nd at select Target locations over in the States. Looks like eBay will be the only chance we’ll be able to get the cans down under.
