Remembering the times when I watched cartoons as a child (as an adult) brings back happy memories. Early morning sessions with Mickey Mouse and Goofy and the gang, watching Lilo and Stitch on repeat – happy memories. But not anymore. Thanks to Dan Luvisi, all I can picture is Kermit the Frog standing with a bloody hammer in his hand and Stitch looking like a character from Gremlins. Apart from being completely creepy, it’s also completely brilliant.

A digital concept artist, Luvisi sought inspiration from childhood nostalgia, reworking characters into monsters and serial killers. Each character has a back-story, which you can read on his blog but before you do, get acquainted with your real childhood heroes above.
