Belgrade born photographers and long-time companions Ana Kraš and Marija Strajnic come together to create LIT, a collection of photographs taken throughout Belgrade and the bustling city in which Ana now resides — New York. By choosing eleven words and individually interpreting them through the lens, the pair have created a diptych-style collection of photographs.

The 24-page publication will be the fourth title to come out of Melbourne publishing house, Bloom. It also marks the third instalment of Bloom’s Old Mates series, which sees two longtime photographer companions collaborate on a publication.

The digital indigo printed, A5 title is released as a hand-numbered edition of 250. Copies will be available at the publication launch on November 6 at Perimeter Books in Thornbury — with beers.
