If you’re over the current crop of superhero/vampire/lame movies you might want to save your pennies for some of the indie films on offer at the Brown Class Cinema.

Brought to us by the good folks at Perth’s 1UP Microcinema, this film fest features flicks about street art, wrestling, Tetris, hip-hop, skateboarding, b-ball and general hustling. Enlisting the help of other ‘non-traditional microcinema environments’ in Melbourne and Sydney, East Coast fans can also enjoy these independent films from October 4.

Once again, we’ve got the hook up for our Melbourne crew with half price tickets up for grabs to street-hustling pseudo-doco Snow on tha Bluff screening at Rancho Notorious on Friday October 5.

Snow On Tha Bluff depicts an Atlanta crack dealer and armed robber Curtis Snow, from the BLUFF (best leave you fucking fucker) who, after stealing a camera from some college kids, films his life over the next several months.

“This is my mutha fuckin movie! It’s bout my goddam life, and all tha robbin, shootin, and wild ass shit that happens in my neighborhood”

The first 15 people to purchase with the coupon code ‘Acclaim’ will score half price tickets. Don’t sleep, grab tickets here.

If you’re in Melbourne or Sydney, peep all the session times here.
