If you’re lucky enough to be in San Fran right now, stick around as a new exhibition Metalmorphosis is opening Friday night at 1AM gallery, featuring works by Mark Bode and Metal Man Ed.

Mark and Ed have teamed up to “bring to life” the comic strip characters made famous by Mark’s late father, Vaughn Bode in the 1960’s and 70’s. Together, they have hand picked over 50 different Bode comic images to create life-sized pieces painted and fabricated on aluminium. Mark Bode (who we interviewed in our fantasy issue which you can purchase here) has said it is “the coolest thing to happen with my dad’s work since he passed away”. The Opening Reception will take place Friday, August 24th from 7-10pm and the exhibit runs through Sunday, September 22^nd.
