Askew One, Elliot Francis Stewart (Deus), and Gary Silipa (Ryze), members of world-renown graffiti crew TMD, recently held a trio-exhibition that took the ‘ONE FIFTY’ title to the extreme. Running with the theme of the number 150, the exhibition showcased 150 artworks, each one 150mm x 150mm, costing $150 each. Doors opened at 1.50pm on the 15th of September at 154 Ponsonby Road. The exhibition ran for 150 minutes, only the first 150 entrants were allowed in, 150 beers and 150 glasses of wine were served, and 150 mini chocolate cupcakes were sold for $1.50 each. Damn, 10 points for commitment!
So that everyone outside of Auckland can have the chance to check out these new works, the three talented artists are excited to announce the online edition of the show set for October 15 at 1.50pm PDT. The works will be topped back up to a total of 150 and are available for $150 USD for 150 minutes. Artists of this calibre at an affordable price – what more could you want?
