With a background in graffiti and multimedia design, Ryan Boserio’s work treads a fine line between contemporary fine art and hyperreal illustration.

His latest work is featured in an exhibition at Hole In The Wall in Perth, opening tonight and running until July 14th. Jame Gevaux has this to say about what can be expected from the show:

We all have stories, encapsulated by one moment in time. When you wear the shirt you were wearing that time you got laid, those shoes you had on when you were walking around a foreign city, the smell of your ex girlfriends perfume. These are all silent nods and winks to memories, past and future, that only you and those who experienced them firsthand will recognise. In this exhibition, Ryan Boserio has drawn from all the labels, slang, stereotypes and archetypes past and present, and given his silent nod and wink to all of them.
