Boyz n the Hood is one of the many films being featured as part of the Shadow Electric’s summer series of open air cinema set in the idyllic Abbortsford Convent. Featuring Cuba Gooding Jr. and Ice Cube this 1991 release movie set in South Central LA observes the life of a group of friends through the struggle of violence, racism, and other hard hitting realities of the era. We’ve got a double-pass to give away for the screening of Boyz n the Hood this Thursday, January 10 at The Shadow Electric.
