Well, there’s no denying the surplus of wack shit floating around Tumblr these days. Pages dedicated to hung-over looking owls, or the well known favourite ‘Things I Put On My Dog’s Head’ which is… pretty self explanatory. In light of all this comes another Tumblr which leaves you pondering whether or not people genuinely don’t have anything more important to do, but this guy, Tre Baker gets off the hook because ‘Google Street Scene’ is actually pretty damn cool.

This Tumblr is dedicated to finding stills from movies that look as though they’ve been captured by the 8-eyed camera sitting atop the Google Street View Car and superimposing the web service’s interface over the top.

The brains behind the new Tumblr, Baker says finding the shots isn’t as easy as it may seem. Films featured so far include No Country For Old Men and Blue Velvet.
