It seems as though Grace Jones has recently made herself visible in pop culture again, reminding people that what they see in Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Rihanna and even FKA twigs are all just reflections (and rip-offs) of her own work, and the work of Jean-Paul Goude in the ’70s and ’80s. She is not happy about it either. Some say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but the “OG Queen” – as some like to call her – isn’t very flattered.

It’s no secret that Jones also has a serious problem with Ye, mentioning that she was going to “get in his face” when she sees him. The hate continues in a recent interview with Paper Magazine (ironic because they broke the internet with a Kim K recreation of a Jean-Paul image, recreated by the man himself, which Jones was pretty bitter about), the multi-talented 67-year-old spoke about Kanye and Amber Rose‘s blatant rip-off of her 1985 album cover for Island Life, “It’s so like, ‘I can’t beat him, [so I guess I’ll try to] understand him… But he did it with somebody else and really badly.”
