To celebrate Team USA and the 30th Olympiad, Haze installed a collection of pieces in Nike Sportswear’s flagship store at 21 Mercer St. The above video features the artist discussing “the significance of symbols in his work and how he drew inspiration from the Nike Sportswear Dream Team Destroyer jacket to create a larger than life installation, that draws on the powerful history of 1992’s most paramount basketball team”.
