Henry Chalfant’s ‘Big Subway Archive Chapter 1’ is now available on iTunes for purchase and download. Chalfant made it his personal mission to photograph various masterpieces painted around New York City on subway cars in the seventies and eighties. After truly capturing the golden age of graffiti, it is now these images have been compiled into a book designed by Max Hergenrother. The entire catalogue will be released gradually over the next year, containing 800 photos, never before seen drawings and various interviews.
