Shia LaBoeuf’s latest performance project – a 30-minute monologue series recorded from scripts submitted by Central Saint Martins Fine Art students – is pretty much Acting 101 if you were wondering how to do it.

His performance is so animated and powerful (there’s tons of stomping, yelling, and flexing) that it looks like it would lend itself to any setting. People have run with that idea and have pulled a nugget from the series which sees Shia scream “just do it” at the camera for a few minutes with his plaited rat-tail flipping over his shoulder.

First off, it resurfaced as the TED Talk you’ve been waiting for to make a change in your life. Next came a fair bit of everything as the clip did the rounds, getting more and more cooked as it passed from user to user. See some of the best in the gallery above.
