Have a look at these fantastic images which are doing the rounds on the blogs, five decades after they were shot. LIFE photographer, Bill Eppridge, captures skaters in the Big Apple—and unlike the technical skaters of today, it seems skating was just another form of transport for 1960s New York commuters. I think I’m in love with the Don Draper type dude, skating through the park wearing a full suit and shades. So goddamn rad.
