UK born and bred artist JKB Fletcher now bases himself in Melbourne, to play with elements of hyperrealism and photorealism in his art.

“My hopes are for Australia to provide a new cultural influence to my work and a maturity only developed through experience. My paintings address questions of whether photorealism or hyperrealism is anything more than a photograph with oil based paint. Using ‘reality’ and sensuality, Surface, texture, contrast and form to provoke thoughts and sensations of physicality and beauty” he stated.
