You don’t have to look very hard to see that we’re pretty big fans of Jersey Joe/Rime over here at Acclaim. The MSK stalwart has an unmatched style that is clean, precise, colourful and very easy on the eyes. Though his letter forms are the stuff of legend, it’s his ability to mix them with original characters, while keeping them within the same visual aesthetics in the process, that makes his work truly original. His Instagram account has recently been filled with sketches of characters before the piecing process, with a clear influence from cartoons, these sketches make it easy to see Rime at his best and most raw.
