Artists and writers ruffle a few feathers in Detroit with the ongoing ‘Detroit Beautification Project’. The age-old street art vs vandalism debate continues, which is outlined here in the Huff Post piece Revok posted on his blog. Regardless, the piece above by Sever is pretty awesome, though I suppose it resonates better with graffiti writers themselves rather than the average punter which is problematic when it’s a public art project.
