Shepard Fairey recently completed a 55×12 meter mural on a building in Detroit as the first piece in a series called The Belt for Library Street Collective where he’s currently exhibiting a solo show. The mural features some of Fairey’s signature imagery and really emphasises how far he’s come from the days where his murals were thrown up under the cover of the night in a frantic hurry. Between his work and Ron English’s latest mural project, you’d have to create a piece the size of a city block to get any attention right now.
