The Perth Artist gets down in a hotel suite

ACCLAIM friend Stormie Mills is in town for his exhibition ‘Peoples and Places’ at Melbourne’s Metro Gallery. In between preparing for the show he found some time to produce this customised suite for The Cullen Hotel in Prahran. The Perth artist dropped one of his signature characters, utilising the unique architecture of the hotel room to full effect. Mills is the first Aussie to paint the space, and his suite now sits alongside similarly decorated rooms from international street art luminaries D*Face, Swoon, and Blek le Rat.

Can't believe Cullen and Stormie are being placed in any kind of spectrum together. Cullen is an asset to the art world, Stormie is a liability.
