Appearing on The Tonight Show earlier in the week, film making legend Quentin Tarantino revealed to Jay Leno that although he hadn’t yet told anyone publicly, he could confirm his next film would be a Western, but not a sequel to Django Unchained.

Taking the non-sequel path is a smart move in my opinion because, let’s face it, what good ever comes from sequels? Seriously; Jaws 2, Grease 2, The Return Of Jafar……yeah. Nah.

Tarantino said he had so much fun making Django that after he realised it was possible for him to do so, he wanted more – “It’s like, OK! Let me make another one now that I know what I’m doing.” It comes as no surprise that Tarantino has decided to run with Westerns after the success of his Oscar winning  2012 film Django Unchained, the impressive final product showed that he was clearly in his element.

The eclectic and slightly bizarre filmmaker never fails to impress, so all we can do is wait in anticipation for the next installment of Tarantino goodness. Patience is a virtue, friends.
