Cloud is a large scale interactive installation created by artist Caitlind Brown. Constructed for the Nuit Blanche art festival in Calgary, the giant steel structure houses 5000 domestic light bulbs, some fully functional and some burnt out. The installation allows viewers to become involved with the piece of art by wandering through the rain created out of pull strings, which they can pull to either light up a section of the cloud or turn it off. With the viewers manipulating the giant cloud, from a distance it gives the effect of lightning on the clouds surface. Check out the vid and pics of its creation above.
