Get ‘pumped up’ about this 20-foot long balloon dinosaur built by American studio Airigami. Taking four tiresome days to intall, the beast is based on a prehistoric reptile from the early cretaceous period, the Acrocanthosaurus, and resides in the Virginia Museum of Natural History. Although the Airigami crew have constructed dinosaurs before, this is the first time they’ve had the chance to build one alongside the cast of an actual dinosaur skeleton. Interest in and praise for the project has ‘blown up’, so lets hope they don’t get ‘inflated’ egos.

The video above is a time-lapse of the building process. Flick past that to see more shots of the creation, if that’s what ‘floats’ your boat.
