What could be more awkward than going out to eat on a Sunday evening and in between bites of the daily special, women are exploding into (fake) orgasms around you. That was the scene at Katz’s Delicatessen last Sunday in New York, ground zero for the infamous scene in When Harry met Sally in which Meg Ryan showed Billy Crystal – and men everywhere – how convincing a fake orgasm can be.

Cue New York based prank collective Improv Everywhere, who – without the restaurant’s knowledge – decided to infiltrate and re-enact When Harry Met Sally in real life. Known for ‘causing scenes of chaos and joy in public spaces’ Improv Everywhere have tackled scenes from Ghostbusters, Jurassic Park, The Matrix and many more movie favourites onto unsuspecting public.
