The act and art of graffiti isn’t always about painting on the surface, there are a lot of people out there that think it’s not even really about what you paint – it’s the way you go about it. Italian photographer Alek Fakso has documented the culture of graffiti train painters for a number of years now, resulting in two acclaimed books Heavy Metal and Too Fast To Die. DSCREET recently caught up with the artist in Brazil as he took his camera across the country, with the resulting video being an interesting insight into the photographer’s thought process when shooting and selecting his work for release.
