Since the age of Miley and 3D printing, there isn’t much that really impresses or surprises people, but Japanese project “Noramoji” is definitely up there. Noramoji translates to English as “loose text” and is the initiative of a group of three Japanese creatives and friends. Basically, the artsy trio scour their neighbourhood for charming or unique typefaces on old florists, barbers or other shops and then digitally recreate them, enabling them for use. All proceeds generated through the sales of these downloadable fonts are given straight back to the shop owners.

Check out the video for some more info about the project and to see how the recreation is done.
