I was coincidentally just speaking an hour or so ago about the fact that some artists really put themselves on the back foot by releasing music under a horrendous name. For example, a group with a sick name like Killswitch Engage or Mobb Deep is about 150% more likely to receive my attention than a group with a horrible pseudonym like The Hood Internet, or in this case, LMFAO. Even if the product is awesome, they're still the musical equivalent of a cross-eyed, bucktoothed slapper with nicotine-stained teeth and a good personality. Every act has the opportunity to come up with an absolutely fucking insane name for their band that would turn a man to putty (ie. DragonForce), but then some rock up with a name that is so appauling that it'd make a dude come up with a bullshit story about an imaginary girlfriend that doesn't exist just so you fuck off and stop creeping him out (ie. LMFAO).

Anyway, LMFAO have won me over, but I still can't look at them in the eyes when we do it. Download here.
