In case you hadn’t noticed, we have a thing for travel photography. There’s something about capturing those magic moments in time, when you’re living the dream in a place you may have never been – they’re the images worth staring at, time and time again. One of our long-time contributors, Melbourne photographer Michael Danischewski, is definitely a disciple of this mantra, usually snapping his photos in black-and-white.

His latest project, however, sees him stepping into a whole new world of colour. Blue Sky Roam still showcases a pretty strong affiliation with one colour (guess which one) but explores the endless tones of that can be found in natural and man-made formations throughout Morocco. The series has been turned into a book courtesy of Bloom Publishing and will be on show from Friday October 21.

If you’re in Melbourne, you can head down to support Danischewski at the opening event at RVCA’s Collingwood gallery. Get a preview of the works and grab your pre-order here.
