Go even further in this suit made entirely of condom material

"When you minimise the body’s limitations and maximise freedom, it’s liberating”

Posted by

If you’ve ever been faced with the task of purchasing a pack of condoms recently, you’ll know that (for better or worse) we are spoilt for choice with all the new technologies being integrated to enhance our bedroom activities in one way or another. Unfortunately, there’s rarely a chance to try before you buy but SKYN Condoms are here to change that… kind of.

Utilising their super-thin yet super-strong SKYNFEEL material, the team tasked fashion designer Pauline Van Dongen with creating a wearable athletics outfit and what she came up with is nothing short of inspired. Designed for elite level long-jumpers, the performance suit is said to fit as close to the body as possible, allow for freedom of movement, and even assist aerodynamics with the help of some strategically placed flaps. This is real life.

The design is a prototype and probably won’t be seen in the upcoming Olympic Games but is certainly a message from SKYN Condoms that, as long as your gear is designed with you (and your teammates) in mind, there’s no reason why it should hinder your performance.

We know you probably don’t believe us, so why not check out the story behind the project in the video above. For more info, head to SKYN Condoms online.
