The one book any real Palace fiend needs to have

A visual history of one of the world's most sought after skate brands

Posted by

The boys at Palace are back at it again, with news of an upcoming book, simply titled, The Palace Book. Fresh off the announcement of their Reebok classic collaboration which featured an incredibly awkward Jonah Hill, this volume features a whole bunch of images photographed by renowned snapper Alisdair McLellan.

It serves as a view into the origin story of the now internationally acclaimed UK skate brand, featuring about 120 photographs, a piece by Stuart Hammond, original Palace graphics, and an iron-on T-shirt transfer. The Palace Book also allows readers to peek behind the veil and gain valuable knowledge about how the Palace Wayward Boys Choir, comprised of a motley crew of skaters, eventually became Palace, making it a must-cop for any Palace fiends.

For our mates living and travelling in London over the next week, the launch date is set for July 21 at the Palace store in Soho and at Dover Street Market London, Alasdair McLellan will be in-store signing from 5 to 7pm July 20. For the rest of us, check out some book details in the gallery above.
