The Simpsons has always been known to cleverly adapt movie scenes into their episodes, with parodied scenes from the likes of Pulp Fiction, Psycho and almost any critically acclaimed film. Well, now Candice Drouet has collected every time that The Simpsons directly referenced or recreated a Stanley Kubrick scene.

The Shining, A Clockwork Orange, and 2001: A Space Odyssey are all films that got The Simpsons treatment, which are showed in the video accompanied by the original scenes from Kubrick’s classic films. With most things our favourite cartoon family does, it always makes for an entertaining scene but fans of the director would have certainly gotten an extra kick out of these particular scenes.
