It's Miller's Time
"Going up a one way the wrong way in some sketchy hood in Europe while a bunch of dudes are throwing rocks at our car was pretty fun." Matt Miller
Matt's style harks back to classic 90's street skateboarding. You won't see him in the X-Games but you will see this Zoo York amateur destroying every spot he hits we shot him some questions about his time filming ZY latest film State of Mind.

What was the experience like in filming for the State of Mind video?
It was fun. There are a lot of good memories that came from makin' this video.
There was a lot of traveling had during the filming - what was your favorite trip?
It would probably be the trip to oz. That place is a good ol time.
What are some of your favorite spots? Old or newly discovered?
Pier 7 of course but just skating downtown in any city is tight.
Did you guys have any sketchy experiences while on tour?
Ya there were a handful of 'em. Going up a one way the wrong way in some sketchy hood in Europe while a bunch of dudes are throwing rocks at our car was pretty fun.
How did you approach your part when filming? Anything you were trying to focus on in particular?
Just have fun in the process.
Describe what filming in NYC in the bitter winter is like...
Cold but I live in SF so I'm there for that.
Who in the crew usually pushes you to skate harder?
Everyone. All the time.
What are some upcoming plans leading up to and after the premiere?
Finish filming for the DC video and just skate everyday.
What is your "State of Mind" when you roll into NYC?
Hyped.
Besides being on the Amateur Zoo York & DC Shoes teams you'll catch Matt Miller currently riding for Ace and FTC.
