We love a good limited release here in Australia. We’ve been punished for so long because of our geography that when a retailer, fashion label, musical artist, fast food chain decides to grace us with its presence, we go completely apeshit. People were queuing for hours when H&M first opened its doors here in Melbourne, so when Alexander Wang’s collection with the retailer was announced for release here, it was only expected to have people camping overnight to be first in line for the range.

Dropping yesterday, November 6, the collection is now completely sold out in Australia, according to both flagship stores in Melbourne and Sydney. And apparently it was all about the menswear, with both stores selling out of the gentlemen’s pieces within the first few hours. Now that really is fast fashion.

With no re-stocks planned, I’m sure there were a fair few hearts broken in the last 24 hours because, you know, they couldn’t get their hands on the Wang. But if your FOMO is too much to bare, and your wallet is still stocked, there are already over 100 pieces up for grabs to the highest bidder on eBay.
