This might not be for everyone, but I for one am sold on the Ben Wahrlich designed Jack Speaker from Sydney’s An/Aesthetic Housewares. Featuring a minamalist design, the concrete speaker rests on a single piece of tuned hardwood. The concrete speaker design is moulded to rest perfectly on the wood base, reducing vibration and angling the speaker for optimal sound projection. Unfortunately, the Jack isn’t in production yet.
