Have you ever wanted to see what happens in Springfield after dark? Texas based artist Tim Doyle has given us a glimpse into what might be going on in the home town 0f the world’s favourite yellow cartoon family and it is dark. The beautifully illustrated series takes a rather unnerving look at Springfield, with late night trips by Homer to the Kwik-E-Mart, Bleeding Gums Murphy playing his sax outside of Moe’s, and Bart tagging up the town. Doyle’s take on the Simpsons’ home town gives contrast to the brightly coloured and highly populated version that we have been shown in the series.

The artworks are taken from Doyle’s exhibition UnReal Estate, which depicted a number of classic locations from beloved television shows. Doyle lives in Austin Texas and has produced work for Lucasfilm, Hasbro, Dark Horse, and DC Comics.
