In a great competition run by the British Ugly Animal Preservation Society to find their ultimate mascot, Australia’s Blobfish, aka Psychrolutes marcidus, has triumphed over wack-looking animals worldwide to be crowned ugliest of them all. Swoon!

The champion lives off the southern Australian coast and is at risk of extinction. Much like our recent federal election, it was a competition for the undesirables and, to no one’s surprise, the most unappealing contender won by a landslide.
