San-Fran based freelance writer Lisa McIntire was surprised to receive a text from her mum telling her an “interesting piece of junk mail” had arrived for her. The credit card offer sent from Bank of America addressed the feminist writer as “Lisa Is A Slut McIntire”, now that’s a stuff up you most definitely wouldn’t want to be responsible for.

Initially McIntire stated she was “nervous” as she is a feminist writer prevalent on the Internet, but she doesn’t believe it to be a personal attack. Taking to Twitter, McIntire Tweeted Bank of America asking for a reason behind the offensive mail, but besides an apology and a promise to follow up on the matter ASAP no further explanation has been given.

With the lack of explanation for the mishap, one can only assume there’s a Bank of America admin worker out there who either really hates the name Lisa, or just really hates their job.
