It’s not often that somebody’s car gets stolen and the police actually find it, and it’s definitely not common to acquire your car back with additional presents inside. But Canadian women Courtney Pickering has been fortunate to receive both.

After her car was stolen from an alley way behind her house last week, the police called her to notify her that her car had been found, and after forensics analysed her car she could retrieve it. But after going through her car, Pickering was shocked to find: a small bag of cocaine in a cupholder, a knife in the front door pocket, a crack pipe, a pellet gun and a heavy pipe, someone obviously was having a party.

After Pickering complained to the police, the officers told her that they don’t remove items from stolen cars even though the illicit items were in plain view. Pickering explained to the Toronto Star that “At this point, I can’t tell if it’s real or fake, but all I know is my hands have been on too many illegal things in the past 24 hours and I didn’t want any more.”
