Tumblr has responded to Drake’s confusing “praying hands” emoji tattoo with a series of artful photographs showing the Canadian rapper in alternate emoji-tattoo scenarios. We see Drake delicately inked with smiley faces, pencils and hearts to name a few. The irony is fairly implicit, with one photograph showing the rapper working out with a “muscle/arm” emoji on his tense bicep. Furthermore, another photograph sees the rapper smoking in the tub with a “bathtub” emoji tattooed on his exposed arm. With emojis slowly taking over, maybe it’s just a matter of time before the emoji-tattoo trend blows up like tribals did in 1990s/2000s – with Drake ultimately lining the pockets of tattoo removal specialists in years to come.
