When we recently saw the latest lookbook for Mishka’s fall 2010 collection had not only been shot by our issue 21 cover photographer Ellen Stagg but also featured the stunning Kristen Pyles we knew we had to get some time in with them both and ask how it all went down. Any excuse to talk to girls right?

Hey Ellen, What’s your favourite piece from the Fall collection?

Probably the shot with the death (neighborhood sniper) hat and stickers.

Kristen is pretty damn smoking hot! Who’s call was it to use her for the shoot? Have you shot her before and how did you meet her?

Mishka asked me about a “fresh faced” girl and I told them about
Kristen. She has only posed naked for art people and for me for Badass on Playboy TV. I met her through a fellow photographer. I want to make her famous. She is too amazing!

Do you know what Kristen’s favourite piece from the collection was?

She wanted to get the Death hat too. I guess we were all loving it.

When can we expect to see then next Mishka calender hits the streets?

Any day now, I asked the guys and they said early Nov. I can’t wait, its so good.

Before we go what else has been going on with you since we last spoke?

I’m in a group show at MightyTanaka.com, I recently shot Jenna Haze for StaggStreet.com (NSFW), and I’m heading to Art Basel, Miami in December. Keeping busy!

So how was it working with Ellen? Is she as lovely as she seems? Or is she a mean task master!

Ellen is always a pleasure to work with, we get so many laughs in! Very sweet and creative!

We asked Ellen what she though was you favourite piece from the Mishka drop and she said you loved the Neighborhood Sniper snapback and stickers, is that right? What else from the collection did you love?

I loved the Metal Priestess shirt, I used to be heavy into death, black, and grindcore; so it struck a deep place in my heart! (laughs) Also, the jager shirt with the inverted crosses.

So did you tear all the shirts up from the Mishka Fall range or did someone do that for you? Did you actually see any non-torn shirts besides the bear mop logo and private shows tee?

No, I had a lovely assistant rip up the shirts for me. They wanted to see the side-boob-under-boob-mother-fuckin-boob everywhere.

In what other shoots or projects can we catch you in? Ellen mentioned you’ve worked with artists before, anyone we might know or we should check out?

Playboy, would be most recent and well known!

What kind of style do you like on a guy personally? Can a guy get away with wearing a pair of jeans and a tee and still impress you?

Oh, yes. Simple is the sexiest thing for me. If a man feels comfortable I feel that’s when he looks his best.

When your not in front of the camera looking incredibly photogenic what do your do with yourself? Is modeling full time an aspiration or just something on the side that you enjoy doing?

Right now I’m modelling full time, trying to make it big. I have hopes and pipe dreams like all the rest, but what I want is to be appreciated for being myself and having people enjoy that.

Ellen wants to make you famous! Would you have a problem with that?

Nope, and I’d take ellen with me. (Laughs)

Can we expect to see you anything else in the near future?

Of course, just keep a look out for my name.

Lastly a nice platter of cheeses or a big bowl ice cream which one are we more likely to impress you with?

Cheese for sure! A big wheel of cheese. Reminds me of that joke when someone like asks…

“have you had fromunda cheese?” “No, what’s that?”
“From undera my balls!”

I fell for that once, no joke.
