VBS’s Epicly Later’d series is one of the best shows documenting skateboarders beyond what they do on maple ply. Host Patrick O’Dell immerses himself into the lives of his subjects and sheds light on the building blocks that made some of the greatest skaters of our time, so when we found out that the next series would be focusing on Eric Koston we’ve been waiting impatiently for it to drop.

Last night VBS released the first part in the Eric Koston series, and it doesn’t disappoint! Some of the archival footage of a young Koston skating in his mum’s driveway and working at a skate camp gives us an insight on how talented he was from the get go, sticking impossible to grind on rails and dancing on lips before anyone even gave him a chance.
