Trading his 30-pound camera bag for a compact Mamiya, photographer Carlos Jaramillo now resides in New York with his heart set on capturing the fine art of skateboarding. We can see why he’s so passionate about it too since he’s got quiet a knack for it. Having worked alongside many professional athletes around the world, his latest series Raised By Rats focuses on capturing the experience of skateboarding as the skaters know it.
