Star Wars creator George Lucas has proposed creating a museum showcasing his own art collection (plus visiting artists and state-of-the-art facilities) as part of San Francisco’s Presidio National Park project. The project, organised by Presidio Trust, is seeking to fill the eight-acre space of land at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge with a special development project. Lucas’ drool-worthy plan is one of the three finalists, and he’s battling alongside a much more boring nature museum and an open-spaced history site to claim the throne.

No date is set on when the winner will be announced, but we know who we’re rooting for. Check out the planned design for Lucas’ museum above, as well as the original proposal video submitted by the man himself.
